Hart goes to NYC!!!
I had the pleasure of joining Carey Hart to the Big Apple to attend the 2003 Grammy Awards with his girl Pink. In a word the trip was incredible!!!
Although Pink did not win any Grammy's she was stoked to attend and she threw a huge party for friends, family and industry types. Candy Ass one of Pink's favorite bands rocked the house as Pink and Carey danced and celebrated the fact that Pink sold 10 million albums. I got to be the fly on the wall snapping photos, doing some filming for Pink for a documentary film that her and I are producing. The film will be released shortly after her next album.
Kelly Osbourne, Usher and a bunch of other celebs partied down into the wee hours of the morning.
Other highlights included a party that Drew Barrymore threw in SoHo down deep in the basement to celebrate her birthday. The Strokes, some of the cast of "Old School" (Which by the way is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen) Mike Myers, Jack Black the list goes on and on…
For the fans of Carey and Pink I personally hung with the two of them for 4 days and I can safely squash any rumors or any questions about them.
Not that I want a bunch of emails. I can just say "They are extremely happy" they danced, laughed and had a great time.
As for other news, Hart's working on a road trip with MX Machine in March and we are getting another video together which I think you will all dig!
The film is called "Carey Hart's Random Sh*!" it's just that!
This film will not be rated "G" although it will have some great riding footage as well as some of the funniest Hart gags on the road you've seen.
Carey turned his camera on over the last year at the Hawk Tour, demos etc. to give you a peek of what he sees. It pretty crazy!
We're pretty stoked about it. We also got Doc Holiday "Rick" to shoot some incredible 16mm film with Carey at his new track "The Pit" as well as Faisst, Twitch, Clifford & Hart working out the Backflip in the giant first-ever MX foam pit.
